The incident took place in New Haven County around 2:15 a.m., Saturday, March 5 outside of 215 Hill St., in Waterbury.
The women were found when officers responded to weapons complaints outside of a home, said Lieutenant Ryan Bessette, of the Waterbury Police.
One of the victims, a 35-year-old Waterbury, resident, was pronounced dead at the scene, Bessette said.
The second victim, a 38-year-old Waterbury resident was transported to ST. Mary’s Hospital is currently considered to be in stable condition, he added.
